Shree Ballaleshwar Ganpati Temple is the 3rd temple of Ashtavinayak yatra located in Pali, Maharashtra. This temple holds a unique place among devotees because of the touching story of young Ballal, Balla devotion to Lord Ganesha led to the deity blessing him eternally. It’s said that this is the only Ashtavinayak temple named after a devotee rather than the deity’s form.
According to purans, you must visit Dhundivinayak Temple Pali before going for a darshan of ganpati at Ballaleshwar Temple. The temple is designed in such a way that the sun’s rays fall directly on the ganpati, which is carved out of stone, facing east. The idol’s eyes and navel are studded with diamonds.
