Beatles-Ashram-Rishikesh

Beatles Ashram is one of the famous spots in Rishikesh. This ashram was started by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi but it got its name after the famous 1960s rock band ‘The Beatles’. In 1968, the members of this band visited Rishikesh to learn transcendental meditation from Maharishi Mahesh after meeting him in London in 1967 and getting impressed by his teachings.

The Beatles brought this small town into much limelight. In present days, this ashram is a major public attraction spot with beautiful graffiti and paintings on the walls. You can book a guided tour who can give you more details about ashrams.
