About Chinchpokli cha Chintamani
Chinchpoklicha Chintamani Ganpati is now 105 years old its one of the oldest Ganpati pandal of Mumbai, it was established in 1920 by a group of 25 to 35 people, who later established the
Chinchpokli Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal. During the Ganeshotsav, more than 6-7000 people just come as a volunteers to ensure its smooth running.
Chinchpoklicha Chintamani is popular for its simplicity and devotional ambiance that brings Thousand of devotees every year in Ganeshotsav, Chinchpokli is a historic neighborhood in South Mumbai, bordered by Parel, Byculla, Lower Parel, Agripada, and Dadar East.

The Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani aagman in Mumbai will take place on 17 August 2025,This marks the start of celebrations for the public Ganesh Utsav at the famed Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani
mandal in Parel. Ganesh Chaturthi will begins on 27 August 2025 (Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi) with the Madhyahna Ganesha Puja Muhurat from approx. 11:06 AM to 1:34 PM

- 27 August – 6 September: 10 Days Ganesh Utsav culminating in visarjan on 6 September 2025
Chinchpokli cha Chintamani Darshan Timing
Ganesh Chaturthi begins on 27 August 2025, many mandals—including Chintamani—start installations and may offer initial darshans after the Aagman on 17 August. Traditionally, public darshan and daily aartis continue throughout the 10-day festival, concluding around 6 September 2025.
