This grand mosque was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1650 AD using marble and red sandstone. Known for its massive domes and exquisite architectural style, Jama Masjid is a masterpiece of Mughal craftsmanship. It also features a famous minaret from which visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of Delhi.

Every day, millions of Muslim devotees gather here for prayers, making it not only a religious center but also an important cultural and tourist attraction in Delhi. The mosque was named after the renowned Emperor Shah Jahan, who commissioned its construction.
