Shree Chintamani Ganpati Temple located in Theur village, near Pune, Maharashtra. temple is one of the 8 Ashtavinayak temples, and it is the fifth temple in the yatra. It is a very famous Ganpati temple. It is around 27 kilometers from Pune .
Shree Chintamani Ganpati Temple was built during the time of Shivaji Maharaj. The main mandap (hall) of the temple was made by the Peshwas many years ago. The whole mandap is made of wood.
The idol here is Swayambhu (self-made). There are also other temples nearby like Mahadev Temple, Vishnu-Lakshmi Temple, Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple, and Munzoba Temple. Beside the main temple, you will also find student stay areas and Bhakti Niwas (devotional stay rooms) where people can stay. You can also find many types of Laddus like Shingada, Amba, and Boondi laddus available to buy near the temple.

Parking Facilities Near Temple
When you reach near the temple, you will see many flower and Prasad stalls on the way. Some stall people may ask you to keep your footwear there if you buy something. But it is not necessary. Once you reach near the temple gate, you will get free footwear keeping facility.
There is also free parking provided by the temple. For two-wheelers, the parking is on the right side, and for four-wheelers, it is on the left side. The parking is right outside the temple.

Theur village is very close to Pune, around 27 km from Pune, you can reach Theur by state-run buses, taxis, or private vehicles. The temple is located at a very important and ancient place where three rivers – Bhim, Mula, and Mutha meet.
